In addition to traditional data, such as those collected by in-vitro laboratory tests, imaging devices, physiological tests, and electronic health records, there are additional systems collecting, integrating and analyzing information and more ways for us to use it in our everyday lives. Wearable technologies are just the tip of the information iceberg as the Internet of Things (IoT) will continually monitor our lives and have real potential to give us insights into how to improve healthcare.
