With incubator partnership, one of world largest biotechs cozies up to startups

Amgen Inc. is thinking small but hoping relationships forged through a five-year partnership with a University of California-related biotech incubator grow larger. The Thousand Oaks-based company (NASDAQ: AMGN), which has a larger research and development presence in South San Francisco, would not put a dollar value on the partnership.
