Academia calls for the use of biotechnology in agriculture for food security

The academia is calling for the adaptation of biotech technology in increasing agricultural yields that will ensure food security. Speaking at the university of Embu at a forum between stakeholders in the agricultural sector and academia, the university acting chancellor Paul Musila said that there is a great need for the country to adapt the technology because it gives quality and high yield.
