Biotechnology is an interdisciplinary science that utilizes living organisms to make useful products from biological systems. The Associate in Science degree in biotechnology at HCC-Brandon works with the growing Tampa Bay area bioscience industry to educate students in the most current laboratory skills, math, genetic engineering, protein purification, cell culture, quality assurance and quality control principles, regulations, computer skills, and ethics documentation.
