Eurofins Discovery, the leading provider of services and products to the drug discovery industry, announced a new collaboration with Amphilix AG, a Swiss-based biotech company, to support a program aimed at identifying a treatment modulating key disease mechanisms. Amphilix AG will take advantage of Eurofins Discovery's DiscoveryOne™ offering, an integrated drug discovery platform providing expert support to progress programs to preclinical development and beyond. Amphilix will engage Eurofins Discovery to prosecute the biology, pharmacology, ADME, and safety pharmacology aspects of the program, working in collaboration with the accomplished team at Eurofins Discovery to progress to a development candidate. The two organizations expect this to be the first of multiple programs in which they collaborate to discover new treatments for unmet medical needs.

BioInvent International AB ("BioInvent") (OMXS: BINV), a biotech organization focused in on the discovery and development of novel and first-in-class immune-modulatory antibodies for cancer immunotherapy, and Transgene (Euronext Paris: TNG), a biotech organization that designs and develops infection based for the therapy of cancer, reported they have received administrative endorsement in Belgium for a clinical trial application (CTA) for a Phase l/lla study of the novel oncolytic vaccinia virus BT-001.
BT-001 is a best-in-class oncolytic Vaccinia virus. It has been produced utilizing Transgene's Invir.IO™ stage and its protected large-capacity VVcopTK-RR-oncolytic virus, which has been designed to encode both a Treg- depleting human recombinant anti-CTLA4 antibody response created by BioInvent's proprietary n-CoDeR®/F.I.R.S.T™ stages, and the human GM-CSF cytokine. By specifically focusing on the tumor microenvironment, BT-001 is relied upon to inspire a lot more grounded and more successful antitumoral reaction. The first generation of the China Biocomputing Conference, hosted by BioMap and Adock, was successfully launched in Suzhou. The conference's goal is to bring together biotech and IT industry partners to build a multi-party integrated industrial ecosystem and realize AI's full potential in the field of biotechnology.
Viva Biotech was invited to the conference and announced a strategic alliance with BioMap. This alliance will combine BioMap's AI + biological computing engine with Viva Biotech's structure-based drug discovery tool to jointly accelerate the R&D of novel drugs.
